50 THINGS ABOUT ME

So I've been writing this blog for more than six months now and I'm sure by reading these posts, you've learned a LOT of random stuff about me however I've never actually taken the time to talk about myself and my interests and I figured that might be an interesting thing to talk about???

Some of these will be repeated information because coming up with 50 facts about yourself is harder than it seems! It's also going to be pretty darn long which is why this post took me forever to write. But here goes nothing!

1) My name is Sureena. That's a big DUH considering that's the name on this website but I wanted to start off with proper introductions. It's pronounced like Serena in case you want clarification.

2) I'm going into the ninth grade. Also not really a new fact considering I've mentioned graduating middle school but oh well.

3) My favorite color is blue (me and about a billion and a half other people), it's also the color of 90% of my belongings so that's neat.

4) My favorite food I guess is pasta??? I don't have a specific favorite pasta anymore but I'm always in the mood for it.

5) My favorite dessert is a three-way tie between pumpkin pie, chocolate cake, and brownies.

6) I also love fennel seeds. I eat a spoonful every night- it's good for your throat and it tastes good for some unfathomable reason.

7) My favorite flowers are daffodils, sunflowers, and tulips.

8) I'm a Capricorn (I'll admit my birthday maybe when it arrives but for a hint it's in December) and I fit the Capricorn mold pretty darn well if I do say so myself.

9) I'm an INFJ-T and proud to be in the rarest personality group (but also annoyed because it's hard to find people who are the same type). I'd say it fits me pretty darn well.

10) I'm a Ravenclaw/Slytherin, maybe a little more Ravenclaw than Slytherin but I love both houses a lot.

11) I'm also a daughter of Athena which should come to no surprise to literally anyone considering the name of this website.

12) My favorite authors are Rick Riordan and Leigh Bardugo (special shout outs to Cassie Clare, Marissa Meyer, and Susan Dennard).

13) My favorite books are the Six of Crows duology (perfection) and if I had to choose between the two, I'd say Crooked Kingdom.

14) My oldest OTP is Anne Shirley and Gilbert Blythe from Anne of Green Gables by LM Montgomery.

15) I love William Herondale so much. He's the love of my life.

16) My favorite song ever is Viva La Vida by Coldplay (I've mentioned this before in a playlist post).

17) My favorite album ever is Made in the A.M by One Direction (also mentioned previously). It's a masterpiece.

18) My favorite band is One Direction obviously (and I love their solo careers).

19) My favorite 1d song is What a Feeling from MITAM. THAT SONG IS PERFECTION. You can't look me in the eye and say One Direction had terrible songs if you listened to this song (and Home, If I Could Fly, Walking in the Wind, etc).

20) I would do anything for Louis William Tomlinson (STREAM TWO OF US).

21) Other bands I love are Panic! At the Disco, 5SOS, ABBA, the 1975, COIN, and HUNNY.

22) Solo artists I love are Taylor Swift, Shawn Mendes, King Princess, Declan McKenna, billie eilish, Maisie Peters, and more.

23) I can play the violin (I used to do piano but my teacher quit years ago and I never got a replacement).

24) I can only speak English as of now but I'm currently taking French. Hindi is also a priority in the future as well.

25) I live in the US in case that wasn't clear at all.

26) I've been to three continents, four countries, and ten states.

27) I love traveling but I can't stand planes which is annoying because I go on multiple flights every year :(

28) The longest flight I've endured is 18 hours and it was absolute hell.

29) My favorite "social media" is definitely twitter because there's a mix of pictures, important stuff, tumblr-esque musings, relevant news, and then a bunch of crackheads. Also I spend way too much time on there, oops.

30) I want to be an astrophysicist when I grow up and also an author on the side (I know that seems wishful, let me dream).

31) My favorite classics are Pride in Prejudice and Anne of Green Gables.

32) I really don't like soup (don't hate me).

33) Major turn offs for me when meeting new people are when people use gay as in insult, or say anything ignorant or disrespectful and then deny they're assholes, when people make people feel bad about themselves just because they like something different or considered meant for a specific group (like when people talk down to people for liking boy bands, cough cough), stereotypers, and when people promote girl-on-girl hate, unnecessary drama, or trash talk someone for no reason. I also hate people acting above other stuff; basically being pretentious.

34) I also don't like when people are so oblivious to what's going on in the world and instead pretend that everything is perfect and dismiss people who say otherwise.

35) I have anxiety but it's been doing better in the past few months which is good. I also hate talking about it, sooo that's enough.

36) My favorite TV show is probably Gilmore Girls but I also don't watch a lot of shows (Hannah Montana, Good Luck Charlie, and Wizards of Waverly Place are all honorable mentions, let's be real. I am a disney channel kid and proud).

37) I don't have a favorite movie- too hard. I love Marvel movies, Disney movies (DCOMS too), To All the Boys I've Loved Before, and etc.

38) I can knit. This is random but it was on my mind.

39) I have a twin (who's my best friend).

40) I don't currently play any sports but if I was it'd probably be rowing or volleyball or something like that. I also suck at basketball, soccer, basically everything else...

41) I am also interested in fencing (which I'm trying out for the first time ever soon, hopefully that goes well).

42) I cry really easily. I'm very emotional. But it's healthy to express emotions, whether it's through crying or something else (for both boys and girls- and other genders too).

43) I love the idea of love and having someone but I'm also one of those gets-heartbroken-once-is-heartbroken-forever people and dating scares me.

44) My favorite place on Earth is probably London, UK (I've only been there twice but I love it). I also haven't been too many places so we'll see if this changes.

45) My favorite subject is History (it used to be math but last year erased that but it's building back up).

46) I consider myself a feminist, as in I believe in gender equality and fairness to all genders (an intersectional feminist to clarify).

47) I'm like really awkward. Like, REALLY awkward. Phone conversations stress me out. Talking to employees stresses me out. Don't even bother asking me to introduce myself to strangers in a new place.

48) I love to draw but I don't do it enough. I mostly use Pinterest models as reference drawings. I want to experiment with finding a personal style rather than just doing "realistic" but I'm also always busy soooo it's kind of a struggle.

49) I'm a perfectionist... yet I'm also really lazy. It doesn't sound like it makes sense but trust me, it does.

50) I have a short temper. It's kind of a problem.
