Welcome to the House of Athena

You might be wondering- who am I? You may have found out about me through Wattpad and Prophet of the Gods, you may have heard about from a friend, you may have just stumbled upon my page while mindlessly scrolling down on the infinite black hole of the internet. However it is that you found me- hello. Hello and welcome, I'm glad you've come.

So who am I? I'm many things. I'm a writer first and foremost. I'm a giant reader. Like over 120+ books per year reader and proud. I'm a Capricorn (and I do think I fit the description, yes). I'm Ravenclaw/Slytherin, a little more Ravenclaw than Slytherin though. I'm also a student, but don't underestimate me because of my age. There is no age limit for creating and having an imagination. I'm a dreamer. A thinker. A believer. I'm a storyteller. I come up with plots, characters, whole new worlds, and weave them together for others to witness. I'm determined. It's not a boast or empty words. I am. I want to get my stories out into the world in any form and shape I can get them. That is the birth of the House of Athena.

Why the name? Well, first off Athena is my favorite Greek goddess. If I were a demigod in the world of Camp Halfblood, I'd be a daughter of Athena. She's the goddess of wisdom which is my favorite trait. Wisdom to me comes in the form of thoughts and ideas and, you guessed it- stories. As for the "House of", this website is a home for my stories therefore it is the House of my stories. It doesn't make too much sense if you think about it but it sounds nice so I'm going with it.

What can you find here? I'll be blogging about everything that is a part of my journey as a writer. That means writing, ideas, and books. Lots and lots of books, because books are what inspire and motivate me to write my own stories. Maybe I'll write a few little posts about my planning and organizing methods- I'm a bullet-journal addict especially recently. 2019 is coming soon which means a lot of things to a lot of people, and one thing it means is a fresh start. This is my fresh start.

So by all means, enjoy. Scroll around. If you haven't already, check out Prophet of the Gods. I'll hopefully be adding a chapter a week (I make no promises though). Look at my other WIPs. In the future I'll share chapter samples and information about characters. My main focus is the Rise of Azria, and I'll be sharing my process of writing (actually re-writing- that's another story) this story that's been messing with my head for the past three years.
